Hi everyone! I had a wonderful surprise yesterday morning. I am an Art-o-mat featured artist of the month. I was so excited, I emailed everyone I knew :)
Funny enough, on Saturday Matt and I decided to take a trip into the city, to do a bunch of nothing (translation: magnificent mile shopping.) We ended up parking in the Grant Park parking lot and when we emerged we had been right under the cultural center, where an Art-o-mat machine is. I said “Well, while we’re here, we might as well…” and we headed in. I’m so glad because they ended up having one I’ve been wanting FOREVER. They had Laura Gentry’s eggplant pieces and so I have my first eggplant, tada! It’s a good thing too, because other than our Art-o-mat pieces we would have walked away from our trip empty handed, only with a little less money in our wallet ($26 for parking, people!)
One last thing, this morning. I am posting a picture of each of the paintings that I recently sent in to Art-o-mat over on my flickr. I’m trying to remember to post one each day. Check over there occasionally to see the collection, as it grows.
